A life without pain seemed like a distant dream for me. After 36 years of being a nurse I can remember days in which my back and feet hurt so badly I felt as if I could not go on; I was at times only surviving.

Believing nothing is by chance, I was explaining to my sister in law that I had began an exercise program of walking and my feet were hurting badly it was really slowing me down—she mentioned that her feet “never hurt.” With envy I asked “how can that be?” She only said two words to me, “Earth shoes.” She then told me where I could purchase the shoes.

With some hope I went to by my first pair of shoes. Now only a month later I can profess I too live in a world without pain, something I had only dreamed of.

Is it an answer to my prayer? Most definitely! Now, combined with the massages offered at the Healing Sanctuary and my shoes I begin a new phase of my life, one in which I run not just survive through the pain—how blessed I feel!!
