One of our customers had a great statement the other day. She said, "You are contributing to world peace... one stressed out person at a time." At the time, I thought it was a cute saying, but as I think about it, I realize that it is what we really want to do. Our store is named The Healing Sanctuary because we want to be a sanctuary away from the stresses of everyday life and away from the to-do lists and turmoil that slows us down. We want our customers to have a place to come to relax and de-stress, a place of healing for the body and mind. One of the best compliments we receive is a smile on the way out of the store from a person who came in miserable.
Let me explain a little bit about what we do.
1. The massage beds
For the past 3 1/2 years, thousands of people have left The Healing Sanctuary feeling better and more relaxed. For chronic pain, headaches, neck and shoulder pain, and muscle knots, we offer 40 minute sessions on the NugaBest massage bed. Jade rollers filled with far-infrared heat roll along the back doing a combination of heat therapy, acupressure, and a gentle stretch to help with alignment. By focusing on helping to make your spine healthier, the massage bed can stimulate every nerve in your body, relax your aching back muscles, and increase circulation. 2. The massage chairs
